His diversity brings a vast knowledge of the laws and regulations in the industry to make sure you leave Genesis Trucking Academy with a deep understanding of how to be a safe driver.
Mike Thompson
Administrator/Instructor
Mike brings over 40 years of trucking experience to our academy from every corner of the trucking industry. With vast experience in every corner of the field, he's ready to prepare you for anything you'll ever deal with no matter what you do with your CDL, along with some great stories about his trucking days.
Steve Merritt
Instructor
As our newest instructor, Steve brings over 20 years of over-the-road experience to our academy. Recently retiring from over-the-road trucking, he's ready to help the next generation of truckers prepare to get their CDLs.
